About Freebie Trading

What is freebie trading?

Freebie trading consists of trading money via PayPal for completing sponsor offers (otherwise known as going green).

Have you ever been surfing the web and come across websites that say: "Come claim your free gift!"  Then you go into the site, and in order to claim your gift you must complete a sponsor offer and then refer a friend who must complete the offer as well.  Obviously it's a pain the butt to get people to complete offers, because they then have to get people to complete offers in order for them to profit.

Freebie trading is like a loophole in the system.  Forums all over the internet are dedicated to finding referrals to complete sponsor offers in order for you to get your free gift.  The great thing about  freebie trading is that both people involved in the trade profit.

How's is it that both people profit?  It works like this:

Bob posts a message on a freebie trading forum saying that he will pay $10 to anybody who will go to such and such a site and complete one sponsor offer.  People contact him on the forum and set up a trade agreement.  Once both parties agree, the trade begins.

Let's say Susy agrees to trade for Bob.  She will get $10 from Bob on PayPal if she goes "Green" (she goes green if she completes the sponsor offer).

As soon as Susy goes green on the site, she contacts Bob, who verifies that Susy went green.  Bob then pays $10 directly to Susy's PayPal account.

How is it that Bob can afford to give Susy the $10?  At one point in time Bob was like Susy, and he went on such and such a site and completed a sponsor offer in exchange for a $20 deposit into his PayPal account.  Now, every time Bob refers somebody like Susy to such and such a site, and that person completes one sponsor offer, Bob gets $20 deposited into his PayPal account, and can then pay the $10 to the person who completed the offer like Susy.

Is it illegal?

Nope.  It's not illegal because everybody gets paid.  Bob, Susy, and the sponsor company all get paid.

In order to complete a sponsor offer, Susy likely has to pay a few dollars on her credit or debit card to complete the offer.  Offers range from buying coffee, signing up for DVD or book clubs, getting a free credit check, signing up for gaming sites, and other offers.  If a person signs up for the right offer however, they will spend only a dollar or two and still make a nice profit.

So, is there a catch to this?

Only one.  When completing sponsor offers to go "green" you can only complete each sponsor offer one time.  You cannot go back and complete the same offer multiple times.  This means that eventually people like Susy will run out of offers to complete.  This is the time when people like Susy become like Bob, and go onto freebie trading forums to set up their own offers.  After Susy has completed sponsor offers on three or four sites, she is ready to become what they call a level 2 trader.  Now she gets to refer people back to those same sites, and every time she refers somebody who goes "green" then she gets her prize.  Prizes can vary from TV's, MP3 players, Tiki Torches, Coffee Pots, and cash deposited into a PayPal account.

It is important to note, that while I have used the example of completing one offer to go "green" some websites require that you complete two offers, or even three offers.  When you agree to a trade with a level 2 trader, you must look at what they require in order for you to go green.  Then you look at the sponsor offers on the website they direct you to, and decide if you want to make a deal with them based on the offers you might like to complete.
